September 22, 2009 at 9:39 pm #153848Shock is the common response. It has gotten a little swollen and the welt around the gash either side is deep red.
I had to fly to Melbourne yesterday and parents were pulling thier kids in close and moving to the side as i came through.
Normally people will ask you what happened but people get one look and turn away. It looks like I tried to kill myself.
Classic!

Mate that’s funny, just glad your on the mend mate, could have been nasty that one, as the leader of a lot of rides I get the odd vine and have been pulled from the bike a couple of times but across the chest.
Cheers

September 22, 2009 at 10:24 pm #153855Hey TB
It is healing well and is a small price to pay for such a good weekend.
I would post a photo but I smashed my shockproof camera when I snapped my brake lever on one of those nasty hills.
Bugger!

AnonymousI fogot about the camera, I guess it wasn’t up to those sorts of shocks!
Still laughing about some of the tumbles and spills
September 23, 2009 at 12:21 am #153611Reading all the reports has brought up some stories that I had’nt heard, like Tom chasing STM on some single track and having a dice with Moto as well because peoples accounts of the ride are always different depending on where they were in the line
Big D had a few lines to tell as well
Everybody has said everything :cheer: it was a great four days and once again thanks to Scott and all the guys that turned up.
September 23, 2009 at 12:34 am #153612Best hickey i have ever seen STM.

It was healing well but the deep one is not closing up as it should. I have been out surfing a fair bit and that may have softened the scab up too early. Infection is not an issue so at worst it will leave a scar. Just one more to the tally
