Mick introduced me to the fun of Wauchope sprint racing last week so I’m keen to give it another go this Sunday. (Although for me it was less of a sprint and more of a fast walk).
But I’m still keen to come up on Satuday. Keener now the pub run has been included
B)but I’ve got to work out a few logistics with my work.
Hey Mick do you want to share the trailer if I go????

Quote:I just got back from my last reco ride before next weekend. I found a new piece of singletrack to add in for Saturday so the route is now planned. Sunday we can put together a ride taking in everyones favourite sections of Saturday plus a corner of the forest that I am yet to explore so maybe we can find some gold together. We will meet Saturday morning at 9am at a location that will be PM’d to all on the final ride list. Then it is straight into the bush for 4 to 5 hours of riding finishing up with a two km beach sprint to the pub for a late lunch. We then get back on the beach and ride to the villa’s for a shower and a change of clothes. I have arranged a van to pick everyone up from the villas at six to bring you to my place for homebrew and pizza around a pit fire. The van can then run everyone back to the villas when we are done.
The weather forecast is calling for rain Tuesday and Wednesday and clearing up after that. If this comes off the dirt will be perfect.
Any questions PM me or Moto and I look forwrad to seeing you all saturday morning. I will swing by the villas friday night to introduce myself and make sure everyone knows how to get to the meeting place on Saturday.
Bring it on!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

September 13, 2009 at 9:12 am #152447I don’t think I will be making this ride guys. The missus is going south on the weekend for a work thing and I will have the kids all weekend, and on my birthday to boot
. I may be able to get up for a drink on Saturday night but that is still to be approved by the minister for war and finances.

Thank’s for the offer, but if I make it I’ll have to go up Saturday morning. We have a small farm and send all our stuff to the markets on the weekend so I’ll have to wait and see how the week pans out.

Hey Dean
Darlington Park is about 30k’s North of Coffs harbour and is on the eastern side of the Pacific h/way. It is easy to find. PM Moto and he will give the accomadation details as he is doing the bookings.
See you soon

AnonymousDean, I couldn’t get hold of Mike who had booked the accomodation, I found out last night from my parents in the UK that he’s up at Fraser Island for a long weekend. I did check with STM who is pretty sure we are at Darlington Park but I wanted to check with Mike first before giving you details in case it was wrong or something!
I haven’t forgotten about you honest!

After riding with STM a while ago I thought I was going alright and then STM makes a turn and on this next trail all traction was gone. I wish I could find someone to look after the little ons cause I soooooooooooo want to be there.

AnonymousI would but I want another Kenda Washougal and I don’t know if I have the time to get down to Belmont to get one. I would slap an S12 on but I won’t change it before Louee and it’s as rocky as all hell there apparently and will shred an S12.
My current Washougal still goes pretty good so I think I’ll end up keeping that on. I’ll have to be on my game to keep up with STM from the sound of it
September 15, 2009 at 12:01 am #152761Hey Moto
Run what you got, it will be fine.
September 15, 2009 at 11:08 am #148917Hey STM have you had any rain down there yet? got a new tyre sat in the shed waiting to go on if needed
but if theres no rain then the one on there will be fine Im sure
Bloody bike needed everything done for this ride
new chain/sprockets, oil filter/oil, front wheel bearing and rear tyre
cost me a fortune this week!!! sure its going to be well worth it as it sounds like an awesome weekend coming up :cheer: :cheer:
