November 23, 2011 at 12:34 pm #212178November 23, 2011 at 12:38 pm #212180Weather update.
We have received 45 mm in the last 24 hours. The big falls have been South and West of here. The terrain can handle water as it gets plenty so it will be good out there. Just make sure you have good tread and that your grips are secured. Nickj is going to post up the foamless Goggle trick that works so well in wet, warm conditions. I recommend you do the mod after you see his post. Safety glasses are the other option but not as good in my opinion.
See you tomorrow boys.STM

November 23, 2011 at 1:52 pm #212182I find this works really well in the wet i first tried it on Micks b’day ride this year and we know how wet that was :pinch:
Simply get an old pair of goggles or a pair you don’t mind sacrificing , then remove the foam from the top and bottom of the goggles as shown
Simple but it works

November 23, 2011 at 2:07 pm #212183Twin lens snow goggles are a good option too, don’t wear your good ones because they scratch easy and are heaps more expensive than moto goggles, plus the strap gets stretched too far around your helmet. I have an old pair of smith ones that do the trick.

November 23, 2011 at 8:58 pm #206218Fella’s
While changing a rear tyre this arvo I had a little lever slip.
Result, broken little finger just above pre existing plate, and the end of it hanging down like a broken dick due to ligament or tendon damage. Just tried to grip a pair of bars and its not happening. Off to fracture clinic tommorow pm.Worst part is tyre still half done.
I’m out for weekend. Sorry everybody. (really sorry) Strucky, I realise I owe you money for the room. Just let me know and I’ll square it up.
Everyone enjoy and stay safe.
Can’t type anymore. (huh huh, couldn’t type much better before )
