Bloody hell, Nick
Get well soon as you can
Damn.
I hate to hear of any injuries, but this is a nasty one
If there were any way to take some of the pain away, I am sure all OB members would take a hit to the arm
I know that doesn’t help you, Nick
But at least we are showing some sort of support
Take care in your rehab
Take care of your family as best you can
It can happen to any of us at any time. Thus is the risk. :pinch:
If there is any way we can help, let the boys know (Old Bulls)
Cheers
Looking for better days
MurphPlus one on that.
Hope you heal fast Nick.
Adam.
July 19, 2015 at 8:40 am #261902Firstly a massive thanks to Ev for showing us some awesome riding around this area, with 8 heading out on Saturday and were treated to some great riding in and around Coramba.
I didn’t see Nicks accident but after hearing Nato’s version of what happened it sounded horrible, you could see he was in a huge amount of pain and it was a serious injury, get well soon mate.Sunday’s ride was based around Boambee with super tight singles the order of the day, with only 5 of us the ks were soon clocking up and took us over to Never never where we covered more awesome singles finished off with a ride up part of the never never riverbed.
All in all a great ride.
Thanks EvJuly 19, 2015 at 1:19 pm #261903Big thanks to Evan and all the guys for a great run and as you all know I just moved up this way and it was great to meat some new old Bulls

July 20, 2015 at 4:08 am #262354Thanks Ev for a cracker ride as always , the hills we did on Saturday grabbed your attention and caused a fair bit of carnage. The single track was first class and a real highlight, some of the creek sections and gullies were stunning .
Can’t wait to finish the loop one day

Thanks again mate
Nick

July 20, 2015 at 8:07 am #261906Awesome riding, thanks for organising and leading Evan. I especially enjoyed the run up the river on Sunday.
Hope you heal up quickly Nick.
Look forward to the next one!
July 20, 2015 at 9:20 am #262359I dropped by the hospital to visit Jacko and he is doing well considering. He has a view into the bush from his hospital bed and he was telling me it would be a good place to cut some singles
I don’t know anyone who is more passionate about their riding than he is so I am sure his recovery will be swift and the Beta wont be in storage for long!
Get well soon buddy. When you are ready to ride again I will drop everything to be there with you.STM
July 20, 2015 at 12:10 pm #262362That sux nickj dude this sport can sometimes bite you hard.
Injuries sux but if it was as they say “Too Easy” it would be like surfing ( too many peoples)
it’s a fun sport when you get it right..

July 21, 2015 at 9:25 am #262364I popped in today to see how the pommy battler is doing and it turns out his shoulder as i would have expected after seeing the impact is fractured also. He is doing well under the circumstances and the nurses looking after him are great on the eyes so i dunno if he will want to leave haha.
