If you like flowing 3rd gear singles with no ruts or obsticles you will hate this ride.
Al had a good view of me flipping it in 4th on a tar road, luckily the chainsaw broke my fall and the bike looks the same as it did before, just hope we dont get too much rain this week.A go pro was in order for that one ev it was a case of going going gone  my head sure does hurt after neally knocking my self out on a log I didn’t see it riped me clean off the bike

Put the tyre back on drove home and put an old tyre on, went back couldnt get up the fist 30m too wet no tyre, detoured 10ks of highway got up there and the damage was insane and with no traffic for the last 2months the trails were terrible, cut about 20 trees in 1k, got the saw stuck 45min to get it out .
Dropped into a single trail thinking if i get stuck at least Ill have the chainsaw to make a way out, broke the chain on the next tree, had to keep going.
Got to a wet peice of shit hill covered in crap and a log across the top of it, had to cut a 2inch wide wedge with a handsaw and prize chips out with a tyre lever took 2 hours.
Went down the bottom to have another go battery was flat bike wouldnt kick over, another hour of kicking and screaming and starting to get late.
Luckily a local heard me carrying on like a pork chop and came down to see what was happening, i must have sounded angry because he brought his gun, he helped me up and showed me the easy home.
Net result cost me 200 bucks cleared 1.5kyou are a psycho unit Ev

MurphMay 20, 2013 at 10:28 am #242176The forecast is bad, for thurs/ fri but clearing up later, more than likely well be riding macksville instead , wich is still good no matter how much rain theres been.
The good news is, most people will enjoy macksville more than the ride i had planned 👿
and we can ride my new track :woohoo:May 21, 2013 at 11:00 pm #241135HTFU you lot
Ev puts on a good ride if its pissin down rain (under water  ), or beautiful sun
If you’ve got the balls to go you will enjoy it
We have experienced both ends of the spectrum up there and both times it was awesome
May 22, 2013 at 9:11 am #242262Friday is 100ml+ but it should be all gone by sun so macksville will be sweet, we rode it after 400ml and it was fine except for that one creek trail were we almost lost Bob. Its an extra 40 min from coffs but its well worth it, well start a bit later so you yambans dont have to get up too early.
