It seems to be getting to a workable outcome, except for the 2 x 1 hr ride criteria. Though it is concerning the council is requesting State Forest (NPWS) look at their policy in regards to motor cycle use. Any restrictions put in place won’t be confined to the Kyogle area, they will be introduced state wide.

I remember reading in a prominent Australian dirt bike mag an article about a national level MX racer who called Kyogle the perfect training ground. He said that he had up to a dozen places to train within a short distance. I remember thinking at the time that there must be a lot of private tracks up there and it seems that is the case. Maybe too many as far as the general public is concerned as it has certainly put us under the spotlight state wide. Let’s hope this concentrated participation in a small region does not threaten us all.
