Paid a few bills today on the card, rego and green slip for the Gasser to be precise. I then thought I would check the Balance,so I go to the Credit Union website and Login         I have about $4000 bucks removed   some arseholes in Miami USA have decided they want my cash more than me   4 seperate transactions ranging from $880 to $1800. I immediately informed the Credit Union and put in some claim forms and cancelled my card etc. But what a pain in the bum, I am usually pretty thrifty as some would say and have a minimum in my ready use acct with most of it going into my investment acct, but havnt done anything for the last 4 months or so,

so people just be aware that there is a lot of it going on at the moment and be extra careful. Hopefully Visa will come to the party and refund my money pretty quickly.

Ollie I feel your pain just not as much thank God. :woohoo: I was done about 5 weeks back. Put my card through a Scamming machine in Newtown. Few days later tried to get money out only to find my account had been blocked. Luckily NAB somehow picked up that my card had gone through the skimming device and had put a stop to my card before anyone could access my money. Pain in the ass though as I had to rely on the missus for money. Took a good two weeks to get my new card in my hands. Bloody Banks!!

Sorry to hear you lost so much $$$. Banks are insured so im sure you will get it back no prob.

Further to this though, 5 of my girlfirends friends were done aswell. Many of them losing a couple of hundred each. The Inner West is full of these bloody machines .   BEWARE!!!!!!!

Got an SMS from my bank advising me to change my pin number as my CC may have been skimmed. They said it was a precaution as there
is a lot going on. CBA allows you to do it on their teller machines and its really easy. Worth doing to save the hassle of a new card.
