    HEY THANKS GUYS… :silly:

Well I love what I do so it helps a bit. And it makles it easy most of the time when I am dealing with guys that love what they are doing… Riding… and with Pete, well you were out supporting the Scrapheap ride mate and i thank you for that.

I only lent you the WR because I knew it was unbreakable  And who would begrudge you riding home with your mates!?

There is a lot of talk in this thread about other guys who work in the Industry like Jason Barrett and Nick Dole and the gang from Sutto’s. One of the reasons I love what I do apart from getting to ride as much as I do, is the people in the Industry for the post part are the best people to deal with. JB from Barrett’s and Nick as well as Vince Strang and Clubby from Trailzone… All great blokes and always willing to go that extra mile and not just for the deal.

But I want to mention our very own TB… Now he is someone that goes all out to help. Revving you guys up to help with the scrapheap ride and helping me with setting up my bikes and riding them for me :woohoo: Thanks TB… You are a real mate and I’m not just pissing in your pocket either B)

A BIG THUMBS UP goes to the crew at Suttos, Chris and Scotty out front and also a big rap for Shaun in the workshop.

These guys have helped me out with technical details over the years, and are always priced well.

Chris runs a very professional outfit, and i still go here, even though there are other dealers closer to me, i know i am in good hands out there.

Support the guys that support us.

As some have said, Nick Dole is a genius when it comes to Suspension, and gets the job done in short time as TB mentioned.

    Cheers Marty

Up here in Tamvegas we are blessed with a couple of great bike shops, two of the owners are Old Bulls and the Yamaha dealer is an avid trail rider. All give great service Mattt and the team at bikes and bits will always bust their arse to help you out, while Steve at Cycle Tune is forever helping us out and is even prepared to risk loaning me a bike for a try out (even if it had a brick for a seat). Both Matt at Bikes and Bits and Rod from Ride Motor Cycles were also happy to lend me Leatt Braces for my research project. More reason to live in Gods country!!

I have to agree with this comment. these blokes are bloody unbelievable, when we done menaces birthday ride in victoria and because there was 3 DRZs going down there Matt made up a parts bag for us incase we needed a out of the normal repair, if we used anything we owned it, if we didnt, it went back on the shelf. Steve at cycle tune will drop everything and help out an old bull when the cry goes out, Snowy doesnt really say too many smart things but this is one of then rare ocassions.

Thumbs up to Cycletune and bikes and bits, when your in our neck of the woods look them up, tell them your an old bull and they`ll look after you, dont tell them you know me,Bolls or snowy,, that would not be a clever move.

Recent experience is worth a mention.

I have just had my bike in with Simon from the Bikesmith at Blacktown. Used to be at Yamaha Australia and he could not have been more helpful or knowledgeable. One point I want to raise is the cleanliness of his workshop – even though he thought it was a bit of a mess, it was in another world compared to all other service centres I have been to.

I would give him the nod.

Good thread, awesome to see positive comments on local suppliers.

The ones that stand out for me

Steve at Adventure moto…giant loop gear is awesome
Nick Dole at Teknik, fixed my suspension and got the XRR running like a train…also didn’t make me feel like a f#*&wit after I asked 3 million questions.
Rookie at Oak Flats Motorcycle repairs, great service/ price and communication

    Feel the love

While traveling home from the birthday ride my ute decided to play games with me until it finally gave up on the freeway.
So credit where credit is due goes to the Old Bull Comunity

The NRMA guy was even an old bull, UnderHonda is his name and he is a champ, Thanks mate hope too get a ride in with you one day.

I was traveling with Steve and Alyssa, and they stuck with me and helped me out when they could have been at home nice and warm. the bastards just wouldnt leave me alone :P :P they wouldnt leave until they new i was going to be ok.
Thanks guys for hanging with me, your absolute legends and i cant wait to catch up.

In the end i called Dejay and he just wanted me to get the hell out of Sydney  cause he went above and beyond, The man ran all over Sydney chasing bits to fix the ute and even brought me some maccas for dinner as i had been suck for a while and by now it was getting late, Lauren came for a run out the freeway with Dejay and when i tried to give her some money for dinner she wouldnt take it, Dejay got my ute running and i was heading home :woohoo: i got home at about 11:00 and cant complain as 2 hours earlier i was stuck on the F3.
Dejay, you are one of my favourite people and lauren you are just as cool as he is.

Dejay, Lauren, Steve and Alyssa, im stoked to know you people and hope it stays that way for a long time, i apreciate good quality people and you guys are exactly that.

    Thank you all again
