    Plastic can be welded
I got a fuel tank done not so long ago for the mower however if they crack it often means the whole thing is brittle and although you might be able to fix it now it might fail rite next to it later.

Best bet would be to hit eBay or I think one of OBT site sponsors is a Honda rep they might be able to point you in the rite direction.

Or someone on here might have one
Good luck buddy it looks like its worth spending a dollar or two on it

Started to strip the little bike down and Im definatley going to have to replace the fuel tank or repair the cracks in it somehow. They dont appear to go all the way through and are all located in the front / upper part of the tank.

    So
1] Can cracks in plastic tanks be repaired?
    2] If so how
3] If not any one got atank they want to flog?
    Cheers snowy

    Ok my two cents:
    1. Possibly, but would you want your kids riding around on this? One decent hit may be enough to shatter the tank and spray fuel everywhere. Potential for disaster right there.
    2. See above
    3. I agree with H, check ebay, gumtree, put a “wanted” ad here and possibly on ADVRider in the Australian section (covers a lot of ground).

Edit: Here’s an XR100 at Molong just down the road from me for $250. Cheap parts bike perhaps? http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/molong/motorcycles/xr-100-/1026007256

    +1 on that one. :)

Good weekend for me, I had the fuel tank from the quad under the bench to keep it out of the road, fuel had leaked out and when I started welding I heard a woof at my feet, No fuel tap on it so when I grabbed it more fuel came out.

Petrol and fire don’t mix too good.

Yeah but I don’t need the whole bike and that would make the tank 4 times the price I paid for the whole bike. May have found one in newy will look at it tommorow.
