AS everyone is no doubt aware, I busted my foot and I am now on crutches. What a pain.
Why I started this thread is because, due to the nature of our sport, the chances are, at sometime you may end up on crutches.
As some of us may have already spent time on crutches and through that experience learnt a few tricks that make life on crutches that little bit easier.

Here are a couple of tricks I learnt last time…

You can wear a barbecue apron (Black and Decker one,not the one with the plastic boobs) to carry things that you would normally hold in your hand when getting about the house.

The carry bag off one of those fold up chairs makes a good cast cover so the cast doesn’t get all shitty. You just slip it on,then fold it over half way, pull the draw string and all’s good.

Has anyone else got some other good tips or tricks?
I am sure we will see some interesting posts.

    Her is something I sorted..
To have a shower wrap it in a bag, seal it with 100mph tape, then make another seal by wrapping the top in glad wrap. Everything stays dry.

I’m pissing myself thinking about you to hobbling around around in an apron with a bright green chair cover over your leg!

Get a skin coloured one, then it can look like your head!
