WRs have been known to trash the odd gearbox, the guns use cush drive hubs in the finke and Safari to make a 450/530 gearbox live becuase of the shock loads etc

I saw these recently and thought they looked interesting as I wanted a cush drive for the XR when in motard form. That said if these are any good I could use them all the time. The XR has a gearbox that is suited behind a 600 horsepower Cummins engine and they dont give a drama but every bit of protection helps doesnt it. Thought also the could be suite to those riding DR400’s and the like in adventure trim

They look like a great idea , and Australian too ;)

    Couldn’t find a cost , any idea what they’re worth ??

Obviously cheaper than a gearbox :)

    Made in China, sold locally

Designed for motard or clean service, don’t think the little balls would last long in mud.

They had heaps of reliability issues, meant to be better now.

I’ll stay with my Haan cush hub.

I’ve been looking at these too. Mainly for the XR but latelty for the WR. Over at ADV in the XR’s thread opinion is that it’s not really needed on the Xr because of the clutch setup in them. something about a “Judder” spring soaking up much of the load.

Anyway there seems to be some thumbs up for the WR. I’ll give them a go when my current sprocket needs replacing.

I did wonder how it would go with dirt and mud etc. My XR has the judder plate/spring (its to help clutch release making it smooth) it has an extra plate fitted its now 43 k old with the original clutch. Be interested to see how it goes on the WR NFHWU
