I have a mate who lives up there and he says its not true.Apparently the rumour does the rounds every couple of years, most likely started by some tree hugging lesos who want the BUSH to themselves  It would make me think twice about riding there tho.

A google search makes it sound authentic, time to get ‘Stone’ out and watch again.

when I was about 15 a mate hit one set in the bush near Blacktown. He was standing up when he hit it and copped it across his chest. He had a nasty welt across his chest for a day or two, even with the “extreme” protection of his Tycon padded jersey.

Just as well it wasn’t wet Mick, or it woulda offered great knee protection only….

I have come across these, but only were there is a bit of “cash cropping” going on….

Which does happen up here from time to time….

Ahhh yes, the old “Bush Lotto” will make people do extreme things in order to keep other people out.

What can be done about this? Tell the police? or just dont ride there? ride somewhere else. What about that bloke who was hit with a stray bullet a few months ago? What are the chances?
