Yeah he was Jacko so true and much much more he was by all accounts a true competitor, a mate to all and someone with a passion for everything he did around bikes and desert racing. Called a wildman his humour in the pits is well reported by all accounts I have read.

It’s a very sad turn of events when something like this happens to anyone and especially to a character like him

    RIP Ivan

Very sorry to read it was Ivan Erceg . Remember reading he rode 30km with brocken ribs and a punchered
lung a few years back , tuff as nails and a personality to match.

    Very sad new

    RIP old mate

The Wildman was laid to rest today in WA :(
It was a nervous wait for me when the first news on this broke last week as I had a mate competing over there.
So sad for this to happen to any competitor, and I found this fitting tribute today while reflecting on Ivan`s career and larger than life personality.

Just like Tugboat Bill, I never had the honour of meeting Ivan, but you can`t help but fel a void with his passing,,,

    RIP IVAN
