AnonymousWow there’s certainly a lot of interest in this ride! I am pleased to see that it appears that the guys have not been put off by the fact that there will be a couple of girls (and I mean that in the literal sense) on the ride. Although I am keen to try and last the whole ride I know that when we rode to Wiseman’s Ferry and back I was actually surprised to see that I survived the ride from Cooranbong through to home because I felt mentally exhausted. That ride was just under 300kms round trip.
Also if there are concerns about how many bikes can fit on the trailer I reckon that we could work it so that on the way back maybe Tracy and I ride part of the way back at alternate times so that only 1 of our bikes is on the trailer at any time. I know Tracy so I know that we will both put in a good effort to go all the way but if we need help we’ll take it.
Looking forward to it!February 26, 2009 at 4:53 am #123955
AnonymousSorry Kylie I didn’t realise you were going on the ride. I think I’m washing my hair that weekend come to think of it.
Just joking!

February 26, 2009 at 5:26 am #123956Kylie there are a couple of different options at different times on this ride, I can send some people one way and others another. I have some different routes for that sort of thing covered already its all good and thats not because of you gals thats because of breakdowns, lost time, bushfires, no drama if I do nothing else I put on a half decent ride with a couple of things covered even if I do say so myself

March 1, 2009 at 10:12 am #116799Hey Dan & Kylie D,
I believe we are maybe using your trailer on this ride to tow behing the Cruiser ??? If so just checking the cable connection, 7pin flat? If not I have one or two different adaptors.
Also, if using your trailer, do ya want to travrl down with me to the start, I`m heading from Minmi down anyway so Teralba is sort of on the way !!! Will save you guys driving back home in the evening too
Sure we`ll sort somethin out by then anyway, just getting in early

CheersYes our bike trailer is fine to use and it’s a 7-pin flat. We hadn’t really thought about how we were going to get there so a lift out there sounds great. Thanks!

March 3, 2009 at 8:35 am #116802Hey TB,
Can you send me your route data & any other info when you get round to it. I will have the Garmin in the cruiser on the day, it may be useful.
Are there any possible points that I can get to the trail for pics or video footage of you guys like we did on the Hill End ride ??No hurry for this info BTW, just thought I`d ask after we were talking about it this arvo.
Enjoy the weekend at Wauchope too man.
