just spoke to the brother inlaw again about where you are planning to come out and he said that where the martindale trail passes thru a property called cow parlour which is where the trail drops down a long shaly/rocky hill out of the mountains and into farmland is where its locked.greg is keen to come along and join us at some stage on the ride and will bring key for gate if thats ok

Yeah thats cool, but strange about that gate as it is a gazetted road and shouldn’t be locked or never has been all the times I have used it, but whatever it will be nice to have him along, will let you know what time we will be at the putty road house later
