    Spot on crash
am really starting to know our way around down there now,
Lets make it during next riding season -Jan/feb too hot

Would be more than glad to have you guys down to gods country, Both riding and living.
Would be easy to take you on 1 day single most of the day or a mix, weekend with stopover or just 2 days, sounds like a plan.

I am now working on links through great trails from around Batemans Bay to Braidwood and back

Last ride for this year this weekend 2 day trip to araluen from milton and back 360ks Total -sweet trails all the way. Single loam, twin, hills ,open fast, creeks, views, rocks, great pub and food -3 days and counting.

Moto the bay is 3hrs from heathcote

since Bob has problems with his bike that couldnt be fixed before the weekend me and Green450 had a last minute change of plan, Batemans Bay it was, Nelligen caravan park anyway.

we got blind on friday night at the Steampacket hotel, (dont ask about the name even the dopey locals dont know what its all about) it was pretty hot saturday, we had a bit of a swim-splash arond at Shallow Crossing then rode back to camp, with bad hangovers we gave up after a few hours and went and had lunch at the RSL with air con.

sunday was perfect weather with no hangovers, we found a few new loops that we had heard about and had a good ride.

monday was an early for a couple of hours then pack up camp and drive home.

Batemans Bay is a dirt bike Mecca.

Not sure about the name but it has something to do with steamboats taking wool from goulburn/braidwood out to sea and beyond.

If you camp at shallow crossing, there are hundreds of tracks all over.

The bay is mecca, for sure.

I thought it was 6 hours or so down? Where abouts do you ride, actually from Batemans? There are trails near Sussex Inlet as well aren’t there?

I have to do 5 hours to Coffs in April as well as 4 hours to Portland.

I’ve driven to Melbourne and to Noosa a few times now in a single trip. Seems that once again I’ve been underestimated!

Plenty of tracks, nowra, wandandian, sussex, milton, termeil, eastlynne, batemans bay,the list just keeps going-you can ride from nowra to batemans bay with only about 10 kms tar.

yeah the name comes from the ships being called packet ships because they delivered mail (packets), when steam power took over from sails it was steampacket

ive camped at shallow crossing a few times and i know i bloke who lives a couple of kays up from shallow, ive stayed there a few times too.

    mecca, sucked in Bob.
