Nearly all of us tow trailers and I feel trailer wheel bearings get neglected somewhat. For years when I raced and drove to Cape York etc was proud that I never had a bearing failure (although I did loose a wheel once because of broken wheels studs caused by them being loose  )
Now I set my bearings up loose, and I explain why in the videos, thermal growth is the reason

Anyways sorry if the video isn’t world class its hard on your own do a two hand job as well

After years of working & getting my hands dirty I’ve started to work smarter & use one of these with a grease gun when packing bearings. Works on head set bearings as well! (same as wheel bearings… most…)

    Kinchrome make one as well

I have two a large for truck bearings and a small, I didn’t demonstrate them because people would think they need a special tool and wouldny do the job because of that ;)

Top stuff TB, what did you use for the bearing cleaning product, just petrol or was it something special.

No Jak not really I don’t think its needed its like the grease in the hub between the bearings. You will find if you run quality high temperature bearing grease like you should the grease between the bearing cups in the hub
