October 14, 2009 at 2:28 am #156345How come the chrome on the forks had cracked? Did it have to be rechromed before the black stuff applied to the fork tubes (cant remember the name of the stuff)
What did it end up costing to have the black stuff applied and the tubes repaired and then revalved and set up, would have been at least a couple of grand wouldnt it? What year model is it 09 they shouldnt have failed the chrome yet should they?

October 14, 2009 at 8:06 am #156414So TB
The story is that the next ride will be the best test to see where it is working better then before on the trails but unfortunately it will be two weeks before I get a chance to give it a real good test out.

October 14, 2009 at 8:28 am #156415Alright I will tell you what I heard
How come the chrome on the forks had cracked? They didnt know why but had seen it on some KTM’s before
Did it have to be rechromed before the black stuff applied to the fork tubes (cant remember the name of the stuff)Yes but they didnt charge you for it
You had both the forks and the shock shaft done with the coating You told bme about the shockWhat did it end up costing to have the black stuff applied and the tubes repaired and then revalved and set up, would have been at least a couple of grand wouldnt it?
lots and lots revalved etc as well
What year model is it 09 they shouldnt have failed the chrome yet should they? No not on a late model bike that has done so little work like yours, but guess its not red is it
Look forward to our next ride mate and seeing the bike in action if I am riding backwards, ah I am sorry for that

Hey TB
All I hope is that the terrian is real rough and rocky so we can see which is quicker and less to manage to keep on the pace.
cheers
