    To those that have added a ride report to this ride thankyou, it makes it all worth while organising a ride. To organise a ride it is more than just thinking up a direction and winging it, there is the pre-riding, getting clearance from land owners where needed, checking that fuel is going to be available, making signs and for this ride TB organising the raffle prize through SUTTO’s and a whole heap of other things that goes into it.

    To those of you who haven’t bothered to write a ride report and prefer to pass judgement on how things were done or not done well, I am at a lose to what satisfies you:huh:

    if you look at my ride reports they mainly consist of photos. it was chris’ role to take photos last weekend. my role was to make sure everyone got to their destinations. which they did. therefore i only took one photo when i was helping people up a hill. (chris was not avaliable). sadly i accidently deleted that photo in my camera and said sorry to boony (the subject of the photo) by pm.

    i actually posted a ride report earlier today.

    Hi everyone,

    Thanks for a great day! and thanks to those that put the day together & thanks TB for getting me in the ride with such short notice. I found it to be a great day. It was fun to ride those winding dirt road tracks,I got to open the 450 up, was spectacular watching TB drift around some of those sweeping corners on the 650 monster(go the Honda) There were some nice hills a bit of mud & dust too, I think I needed a air filter for my mouth :)

    Everyone road well at a good pace,thanks all :)

    Well I thought it was an excellent ride, well planned and well organised.
    With TB running the ride AND this site, I think we are in good hands – well done TB.
    I will be happy to sweep on the next one or do what ever is needed.

    Points I remember;

    Trying to wheely over a little mud hole and the back wheel going down, down and sideways until the bike went left and I went right! Kylie offered help but I didn’t need it, thanks Kylie.

    Speaking of Kylie, it’s been said before but your confidence is good and riding is impressive.

    My only regret is not powdering my butt before the ride. The beemers seat must be the hardest one ever made for a motorcycle.

    I really enjoyed the open sections through the country, even the tar.

    Als trials tyre was picking up these tiny little pebbles and showering me at one stage, I didn’t think they got that sticky on the dirt.

    I look forward to the next similar ride.
    Well done everyone for keeping it together and not getting any flat tyres or other damage.
