That means its “Middle of the road – You have seen most of the types of obstacles riding has to offer and a good idea of how to handle them, the odd push and helping hand wouldn’t hurt. No crazy hills yet though!”
So you could say its “Middle of the road – You have seen most of the types of obstacles riding has to offer and a good idea of how to handle them, the odd push and helping hand wouldn’t hurt. No crazy hills yet though!”
Hope this answers your question
Now I will redo the post so people wont have to go back after this dribble

August 9, 2009 at 11:59 am #147619Dan and I will be introducing a new cornering, selective system at least once on this ride. We will be using the two riders per corner as normal on such a big ride, but you may come across two guys (or gals) at a corner holding an arrow each, the arrows will give you a choice of easy way or hard way, both tracks will have someone where you rejoin to send you in the right direction. Eagle you can do all the hard ones as I would hate for you to miss half the trails and then rate the ride

August 9, 2009 at 12:29 pm #147660Because this is a grade 3 ride, Novice and his wife Tracy are meeting us at the pines, cnr of Watagans Forest rd and Wollombi Forest rds, from then on the ride is much easier.
Champo and Tracy I think are meeting us at Freemans, there is only about a dozen big muddy water filled bogs between there and the Pines

AnonymousThe starting location will be PM’d later this week for all that will be coming on this ride. I only ask that everyone remembers that we will starting from a residential area in surburbia, please respect my neighbours and refrain from revving the crap out of your bike when starting.
One of my neighbours said this arvo that he would wheel his BBQ out and provide egg and bacon rolls for brekky for $3.50 each. I am not sure if he was for real but if you are interested let me know and I will pass it on. I’m sure if he could be garenteed enough numbers he would do it. So let me know and I will see what can be done.

AnonymousAlso to everyone that is coming along on this ride
THE LEAVE TIME IS 7.30AM – SO THAT MEANS WE WILL BE LEAVING AT 7.30AM SHARP
IF YOU ARE LATE RIDE STRAIGHT TO FREEMANS WATERHOLE AND WE WILL PICK YOU UP FROM THERE.
Remember though if you are late and go straight to Freemans you will miss out on a heap of good riding.
Please refer to the locked thread for all the details of this ride.

Perfect that’s what we wanted no dust
Just one thing, getting to 27 degrees on a rainy winters day? Sounds strange to me

A trough could bring isolated showers over northern NSW and southern QLD. A front and strong westerly winds should bring showers to southern NSW, VIC, TAS and southern SA. Onshore winds could bring few showers to southwest WA. Mostly dry elsewhere under a belt of high pressure.Issued Monday 11:34 EST

August 10, 2009 at 10:28 am #146562A little rain will keep the dust down;)
Bring it on :woohoo:

AnonymousJust an update for everyone that is attending this ride.
The dust suppression that has been ordered for this ride is falling today. Will be gone for the weekend though.
We will be leaving my place at 7.30am SHARP – address will be PM’d later this week. I can’t stress enough how important it is for us to leave at 7.30am – we have some ground to cover and given that we have 30 going on this ride we need to keep everything moving.
If you are not ready to leave at 7.30am you will miss out. You do have the option if you are late to ride straight to the OAK at Freemans Waterhole and we will pick you up from there.
There will be parking available at the bottom of my street, please park in an orderly fashion and PLEASE be as quiet as possible. The ride will depart from the bottom of my street so please do not ride up to my place, I am not looking to offend anyone that is coming on this ride by saying not to ride up to my place, more to keep the peace in the street.
Novice,Mrs Novice and Racey Tracy will be meeting us at the Pines.
Further updates will be posted as we get closer to Sunday.
It’s going to be a great ride:)
Dan & TB
