    Hey DJ,

Why is head light always on, can’t it be turned off ?

    Hey Gaz,
The light is always on, it’s the same on a few bikes, I’m guessing a safety thing!
Can’t hurt too much I guess!

So did Deejay and I this arvo when we setup his spot tracker. I didn’t mention that it was about a day after he bought a new 60 CSX.

We went for a ride tonight in the dark went and buzzed Letty, mostly bitumen, back roads, a single trail ;) But you know what better than sitting at home :P

The DR has received the full Teknik make over now. I am expecting Rudy to kick in here sooner or later with a few details of the spec and what was done. I have been really surprised by the out come of this project. It seems a really nice, capable, good looking bike. The suspension was a major part of the transformation it is much taller now has ground clearance a real make over. Thanks to Nick, Rudy and mostly Pauly (he did the work  ) to make it happen in the time frame.

    Top Project.
I am watching very carefully as I have just bought a DR 650 and am starting to get it ADV ready.
I intend to get same panier system as you have and like the look of the B&B Rack. ( I have one on my DRZ400)
Question is before I purchas either is how the two fitted togeather on the bike.
It looks by the photos there was no problem but is it possible to post some close ups of how the bolt on please.
I also notice that you have the lowering kit for the pegs with the pegs forward of their original position.(looks that way in the photo)
I have mine mounted so the pegs lower and rearward.
    Have I got mine wrong.
If I have I think I will leave them there as they feel comfortable the way I have them.

    Cheers

It looks that way in the photo Maso. They are intended to move the pegs lower and rearwards as told to me by Vince Strang.

They might work forwards for some people though.

Are you sure they are forward because today when we bolted them back on they were backwards  I will own up to this to a point, as I did have the great DR nameless guru helping me and there was some to and fro

Would you believe we tried I cause DJ has small feet

    Thanks Maso

I believe none of those excuses TB !!

Own up, we all make mistakes , some of us even tighten our brake snake enough to fool us into having no brake at all
