Hi guys’ I just thought i would say how impressed i was with my new toy. I sold my wr 426 about 3.5 years ago and have just picked up a drz 400e about 4 weeks ago, went for a half day ride and couldnt get the smile off my face!! I was worried that its been a while and im getting older etc etc, but after a hour or so i was having a ball and how ive missed that feeling.
It weights more than my wr but its very forgiving and really easy to ride and i only layed it down one time on a snotty hill so am very happy with my first real dirt ride on her.
Have heard lots of mixed reports on drz’s but must say that i am very happy with the bike so far and look forward to getting out more. Its got a full yoshi and a re jet and it seems to have good usable power even for a rusty old fart like me!:P
I put case savers and manual cam chain tensioner on but appart from that it was good to go.
Hope to meet some of you guys soon, am trying to make the ride on 25th even if i just come for the day.

DR’s are a great thing yes I think they are Australias biggest selling dual purpose bike so they must be good (designed by Honda I think to be that good)

As far as getting back into it, its as easy as riding a bike they say!

    Cheers see you there

The DRZ is a trusty steed. Although it is a bitch of a bike when the battery decides not to play ball ;)
