I’m doing the rear brakes on the Drz and not sure of the thickness of the brake rotar. If anyone can help out it would be appreciated. One shop I asked said 3mm another said 2.5mm

2.5mm is the minimum spec mate, but just bang some pads in it it will be OK mate

Thanks to my mate Boulder, I have the service manual for the 2000 to 2007 DRZ400 and it states that the disc’s should be minimum 2.5mm. It also states and I don’t know what this means is that the brake disc runout limit is .3mm. TB will be able to confirm this but I am thinking that this is the variation in thickness around the disc (?)

    Thanks Boulder!

    yep min thickness is 2.5mm

Kylie run out is the distance that a disk runs out of true,in this case max 0.3mm
