Not very good when you’re on flat ground though eh?
You should keep hold of the DRZ Boonster, I don’t think you candle anything with more than 15hp
April 27, 2009 at 12:10 am #130850first to admit I cant ride..and a bike with any credability would not be a wise purchase for me.maybe I should buy a KTM?:woohoo:
15 horsepower is just dandy as long as they all work together and get me home, dont care what colour saddles their wearing.

the only bike we’ve had trouble push starting is a hog with a flat batt and no magic button. they need a full 12v at the points just so you can even kick them into life:ohmy:
apart form that every bike i’ve had i could push on my own, even the gsx 600.

But why do you need to push start every bike you’ve owned, this in itself causes me to worry Mr Cleveland 351……..
I liked Bonny Boonys’ style imagine comparing a 300 smoker (even a kato) to a DRZ, knew straight up it was a wind-up. See suzuki riders have a sense of humour too..

usually because they are button only and did not have enough charge in the battery to start. and it is such a pain to jumpper lead them:blink:

push starting is only when all else fails.

serve of KTM:unsure: , do you mean like a plate of jelly kind of serve ,looks shiny, wobles alot, wont run in a straight line and is only enjoyed by small children or really old men with no teeth.

April 27, 2009 at 2:46 am #130911I suffered the embarasment of having to attempt to clutch start a KTM990 Adventure with a flat battery in the main street of Town with Connor Pushing me. All it did was leave big black skid marks on the road.
WE eventually got it to start, by having it in 4th gear and hitting the starter at the same time as dropping the clutch.April 27, 2009 at 2:49 am #130913the best way to start them is 1 litre of unleaded and a match:P
even then shit dont burn:woohoo:
