I tried the MX71’s on the weekend hoping they would grip like the 51’s but last longer. I should have known better than to use a hard terrain tyre. Any moisture in the ground and no grip at all. Had to let it down to 8psi just to get up one hill. Knowing my luck they will now last forever. Even if they do they will still be coming off soon they are that bad. In saying that the front seemed okay, just nothing in the rear.
the front tyre is still in good nick and sticking like shit to a blanket.the back one has warn fairly quickly but still grips okay.these tyres seem to turn in real good and give you plenty of cofidence and a smooth ride. i reckon about half the life of a pirreli scorpion on the back i would buy them again but heaps fun to ride on.reckon they would be brillant on a 250f the 530 is hard on rears
