    Well,
    The case guards arrived today from Steve at ADVMOTO (thanx mate)
    Have stuck them on (thanx to a sickday :whistle: ), will do a small edge bead tonite (to keep grit out from behind them)

    Seems funny how a little bit of Alloy can provide much protection, but with cases that stick out so far I thought it was a good move,,,,

    A good bashplate will take care of the undercarraige soon & replace the stock hard plastic one…..

    The silly sidestand has always been a worry since I got the 690 (too long) resulting in an almost upright dismounted bike. :blink:
    I had to be real careful where I parked it, especially on uneven ground which is a pain in the rear :blush:

    SO today I hacked 15mm off the end & re welded to baseplate back on.

    Easy job really (if you have a welder at home) :laugh:

    That`s how boring my day was actually, sitting around most of the day resting the ankle (RDO`s are grouse sometimes) No kids or missus here all day either,,, just me, the dog & two budgies :laugh:

    With all the excitement at the moment due to Dejay`s DR650 project,
    I thought I`d throw it out there that I got my GPS & Heated Grips installed & wired up ;) :laugh:

    Just in time for the warmer weather too :side: (it`s still chilly some early mornngs at the moment) :whistle:
