G’day all. Just signed up so here is what I am about.

Retired firie. 33 years in the NSW Fire Brigade. Previous to that 3 years in the Australian Army including a year in Vietnam.

Retired in 2004. Took up dirt bike riding because I did not want to go to seed in my retirement. First bike a TTR250, then a WR250 and then my present bike, a much modified KLX250, perfect for an old fart!:P

Been on DBW for a while so some of you will know me from there. Just turned 65 last month. Probably a medium grade rider but willing to have a go at most things. Problem is I don’t bounce as well as I use to!

Look forward riding with you all.

Hey Al, welcome to OBT. I saw your DBW thread so glad you managed to get signed up here in the end. Well done for persisting :)

You are in the Hunter aren’t you? We may be going for a steady paced ride at Sugarloaf Sunday if we can get it organised. Only a few us, should be good. You are more than welcome to come if you fancy :)

Yes Moto. I live at Pelaw Main. Would love to come for a ride but my forks are at Kawasaki Connection at Cessnock getting new seals and stronger springs.

Been waiting over two weeks for the springs, a real pain in the arse. If I can get them before the weekend the I will have a go but Carl Walters (the owner) son is riding a Kawasaki at the superbikes at Philip Island at the weekend to I am not holding my breath.:(
