I need to go for a casual ride out it will have been 3 weeks which is way to long. [strike]I was thinking of going to Denman Pub for lunch on Sunday. I was going to start from the Putty turn of about 7kms south of the old halfway house on the Putty rd at 10 o’clock (Cnr of the Putty Rd and Putty Valley Rd). This would give people time to ride out from Newy and the Central Coast areas through Yengo if they desire.
From there through Baxter Junction, Raspberry Junction and Martindale trail to Denman for lunch. From Denman back there are a few ways home depending on the group size (if any ) [/strike]
Route change see change further through the thread

August 3, 2010 at 2:41 am #185225If this wind and rain pisses off and I am not working I could be tempted.

Just hope is not windy as my kiteboarding urges will be tempted.

August 5, 2010 at 11:54 pm #185354I am changing this ride as the only confirmations are from the Sydney area. Jeffro if you are still interested its only a run through Wismans or St Aburns and up to Windsor I can put together a easy great route for you if you are still interested to meet with us
We will start from the Macquarie Arms Hotel at Windsor (Cnr George & Thompson streets) at 9 o’clock
From there we will go to Colo River, up through MT Lagoon, through Bilpin, down through the back into Mt Wilson, over to the Bell Rd and through to the Zig Zag. Down into the back of Lithgow, over to Hampton, across the Cox’s River over the Great Western Hwy up to the back of Mt Victoria for an ale and home
Some photos of route sections

Sorry for the inconvenience

August 6, 2010 at 2:35 am #185410The new bike only has road tyres at the moment, some of those trails my be a bit tricky in road mode. This ride would be a biggest days out ride all rolled into one day for me I think.
August 6, 2010 at 2:41 am #185411Would it be smooth surface trails for the nx or should i bring the xr TB? My dominator must remain unscathed!
