ok, you lazy vicco’s…
lets get something happening…
i did this ride last sunday with some blokes from “the other planet” and it was awesome…..except for the heatstroke i suffered, which wrecked me for a few days. nasty shit!
good single stuff and some sweet open sandy trails.
the pub is grouse and they do a good meal and are bike friendly.
it can easily be done on a tank of fuel and has many options.
im sure between Smurf, JAK and myself we can work out a good route.
no date is set yet, so please let your preferences be known and we’ll go from there.
who’s in and when is it gonna be???
February 10, 2010 at 5:01 am #170807ow ow ow pick me. pick me.
I’ve got the maps. I’ll scan em and send you a copy.
February 10, 2010 at 5:02 am #170808Any time will suit me may have a couple of stragglers to come along as well. Some good tracks out the back near the Ford proving ground and across the top for some good views. I generally start from a spot called Messmate track. If you google map it will show most tracks from there.
February 10, 2010 at 5:33 am #170814yeah, thats the shit smurf. we parked just north of there on gum flats rd near Allardyle tk. took that south to Peregrine tk, then west through singles to Bambra rd and into the pub. some fine riding out there.
can ya scan me the maps JAK, ill print them and add the singles in from google maps satellite view;) ive got nothing else to do
JAK, you sound like Arnold Horshack
February 10, 2010 at 5:49 am #170820I generally go from mesmate to coalmine rd then into Allardyle tk. Denham track is also good riding when it is open. We were down there a few week back & most of the winter closed tracks were open. I was going to head down there on Sunday but the heat made me decide to tackle the fridge instead. The fridge won unfortunately
