i dunno if it will be a farewell or a good riddance ride  :S

    :P

as some of you may have noticed that i have not been active since Menace’s 40th ride 12 months ago  12 months?!?! where in the roosts of time did that all go?!?!

anyway not long before that ride a new romance was in the bud with a fair lady from the mid south coast of NStroubleyou: being just down the road from “pork chop hill”. now named Big mother apparently.

umm where was i that’s right…. i have not attended any rides since then nor had much saddle time really either :( (saving for up coming bride’s day + spending a whole fortnights income from time to time just in fuel/accom money to visit aforementioned lovely lady = less time pining over not enjoying roost time with fellow riders/feinds oh i mean friends :P

as i said to TB after Aido’s MIA thread and their welcome back, coming to OBT as often as i used to would be like calling the takeaway shop with an empty wallet and an ATM balance of $3.47, getting them to read the menu and what the specials were and not ordering anything. ending in being hungry even to the point of salivating and not doing a thing about it nor having the means to do so).

hmmm off track again… just like my riding really :pinch:

i will be moving over the coast some time next year after nuptials, and thought if i’m to have one last hoorah in Vic for the foreseeable future.

so i thought if i’m going to have one last ride will all the top blokes i have been graced to meet, i better get my act together now. and get the ball rolling so a weekend, place and numbers can be settled upon agreeable to all (or if any) that would like to attend.

so for those that would like, post up a date, place, who you will bring if posable and so forth.

Menace has expressed an interest of riding Strathbogies and what i have ridden of them it’s a top place to ride. but little in the way of accom. however my preference is as low cost as posable to make it posable for me to attend.

i am available most weekends that fall on a pay week with a week or so notice. excluding September 10th to 20th, the beautiful bride to be is visiting within those dates.

unfortunately the grand planes of Deni are uninteresting to ride and all would need full reg bikes to attend. however i could plot out a S/T course through the yellow box out crops…. but i’m sure many would rather stay at home an help the missus redecorate

so post away and see what follows.

Hey Drewpy, mate im under medical advice to stay off the bike due to a back injury. Most likely wont be back until October at the earliest.

If you get a ride organised before then i will still try to come along as your special celebrity guest . Maybe even come up on my harley with Smurf19 if he wants to come along.

Keep us updated with the date mate and make sure you have plenty of your rocky road for us.

that’d be hard to take Aido…. newish toy and lots of close by riding to you and given an order to stay off the trails….. knowing how keen you are to ride and all.

october could be a contender anyway Aido.

i did think even if a ride cannot be organised, maybe a bbq somewhere for some bench racing could be a goer too.

yes TB i will be riding in the area once i move, the bride is into bikes and so is the 15yo boy. will be saving as much as/if posable to look for a sub 250, 175- 230 something for her to ride with me and her boy can borrow it from time to time. as i alluded to in the KTM 200 Duke thread. ;)

but it won’t be with any of the Vic crew for some time after i move as it will be more logistically challenging due to distance etc. for them to attend unless planed well in advance, which i cant do til i’m settled n found my feet in the new surroundings.

once i find my feet over there i will endeavor to host a ride…..

and once i have moved it will be some time before i could attend any of the Vic rides.

hence this thread. to organise an opportunity to see the Vic crew go for a roost one last time as a single man and thank em all for the best Vic riding i’ve ever done.

all make sense now?? :P :silly:
