newry moto track is about 5 minutes from my caravan at glenmaggie. im tipping some of the tracks we normally do will be included in their loops.

im thinking get up there sat, go for a ride in the arvo, have a spit for dinner and a few frothies and laughs before bed….

then up sunday and go do this ride.

i guarantee there wont be the amount of knobs doing silly things that there were at the Kenda as its further away and not as highly publicised.

so come on vicco’s, you know how good the riding is up there!!!

im always getting harrassed about doing a weekender up there….

    so here it is…… :)

its still nearly 8 weeks away…plenty of time to build the brownie points up!!!!!

besides, if my glass spine breaks again, i will need you lot to scrape me up off the trail

Could be interested in this. It’s a week after I get back from Bali so body will be relaxed and full of Bintang. Are we entering as a team or individual. Don’t worry about the back mate if you ride with me at my pace way down the back I’m sure we’ll only sqeeze in the one loop.

    Why not? I’m keen. :woohoo:

I noticed a question if its team or individual, happy with either?

I haven’t ridden in a race for over a decade, will be funny and may involve spewing in my helmet.

I have an enclosed trailer so feel tight saying it but can only fit one bike! but I will drive on the race day and would be happy if someone had a mutli-bike trailer to switch over somewhere and take others, it will stop me falling asleep with the early start and the 3 hour drive (not sure how long?).

Being a fair drive for a morning run I might take the family up and be a tourist on Sat, then ride on Sunday with a nice 3 hour run home.

    #182867

    cool as.

me and choppa have caravans on site at Blores Hill caravan park. its about 10 minutes or so from newry. we are set up with all the mod cons and have spare beds if youre coming alone.

if ya wanna do the family thing thats cool too.
if your quick, you might be able to get a cabin there, if your that way incline, or just camp. there are good amenities too.
the caravan park number is 03 5148 2495.
they are very bike friendly dudes and cool as.

you can ride across the road and your straight into the forest for a squirt ;)

i guarantee a good weekend
