UPDATE; Go to reply no 4. Now looking at ride on Say 8th of Jan. Wombat or Dissa.

    C’mon local bulls GETOFFYABUMSANDCOMERIDING. :woohoo:

    Cheers. Damo.

    ***************************************

I thought I would have another crack at getting some Bulls on a VIC Nth Ride.

I was very pleased to get Weekend Warriors 1 & 2 for Chrissy http://weekendwarriors.com.au/WWIlist.php so I wanna give one of the rides a go. I have not been to Dissa for years, so this book with tips and Maps has me Keen.

I looking for anyone also keen to go for a look, I can scan a few copies of the map and draw up a loop so we have a copy each. I have a GPS (Car one so I store in my Camelbak and stop to use) So another GPS would be good backup.

Hard to say what level, except, have a go at what we find, and offer any help or rests where needed.

Timing wise I am hoping for during this week, ideally Tuesday or Wednesday? I prefer to get going early so were done by mid arvo, or have spare daylight hours if ever needed.

If a few riders post interest I will get a loop outlined and post up a proper start time and location.

No can do this one as pouring concrete in the backyard that day as the final project of the xmass break that I was supposed to have. Would have been better off staying at work it would have been easier.

Weather is looking great leading into Saturday, I love a bit of rain to settle the dust, and the temp looks to be good too, the shower or two should pull it under 30, and were starting early so should beat the afternoon cool change.

Last big ride I was on had very hot dry days leading in and was well over 30, not real good when you have more than two or three bikes was too dusty so this is looking good.

    Thursday 6 January

    Metropolitan area
Becoming cloudy. Isolated showers and thunderstorms developing later in the day. Winds north to northeasterly averaging up to 30 km/h tending northerly up to 45 km/h during the morning.

    Saturday 8 January

Damo I hope you don’t expect us to be as organized as you :laugh We just take it as it comes and see what happens ;) I’m expecting a few cancellations as 3 of the boys have their bikes in the shop. Wombat is allways a top ride :woohoo:

LOL. Not all that organised mate, I just keep an eye on the date and weather as I look forward to getting out and riding, I only get out every few weeks cos were so busy with the 1.5 and 3.5 year old boys, aside from quick rides on some local dirt roads.
