Did the person ask the photographer permission to use the photo of a person crossing the creek ?
Did the person ask my permission to use my son’s photo who is a minor ? NO.
An extract from legal advise regarding photography of people
“Certain photographs of people may amount to exploiting the persons concerned or misrepresenting the truth”
I think this is the case if the photo of my son is being used to say he was doing something illegal which he wasn’t.
If you think this is inappropriate then delete it but it has gotten the hairs on my back up !

September 5, 2011 at 12:21 am #208237Well said adam.
September 5, 2011 at 1:01 am #208240Yes Adam I know where you are coming from and I AGREE but also it’s the Internet mate and once it’s there it’s every bodies, sorry just saying.
Let’s just wait and see what happens it may be run elsewhere it maybe cancelled
Again we need to wait.
I have found heaps more Internet pictures and posts about the weekend anyway so it could have been sourced anywhere

TB your correct its there for everyone to see, but its not there for them to use in any fashion without permission.
They can’t have it both ways, they need to comply with the laws of the land just like we do.
Adam.

September 5, 2011 at 1:30 pm #207208OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION: There has been a change this weekend – TM Racing NSW Enduro & Yamaha AORC has moved to Hastings Valley MX Complex at Port Macquarie. Final Instructions will be posted on web today. Those staying at Jaspers ring IMMEDIATELY & cancel & demand immediate 100% refund – as Phil from Jaspers lobbied council for us not to run at Mt Seaview
September 5, 2011 at 1:33 pm #207209Format will be 2 special tests run in consecutive heats over 2 days (sprint)
September 5, 2011 at 1:54 pm #207210Bloody disappointing.
I don’t think they will need sweep riders for the special tests.
The disheartening thing is that a few can spoil it for many.
After speaking with Protty at the state event there is also an unbelieveable amount of work that goes into these events.
To have it all go up in smoke would be soul destroying.
On a selfish note i was looking forward to the riding, Mt Seaview has some truly spectacular riding terrain.Rebore.

September 5, 2011 at 4:20 pm #208285So does this mean the sweeps team is no longer needed? there is still a WRC up the road

September 5, 2011 at 10:43 pm #208296Sorry guys, I will have some more info soon I hope. As stated above, the AORC is now at the HVMCC track. This is all the info I have, other than Protty needs a hand over the next few days to set up the tracks. It wont be as good as Mt Seaview but if your still keen to sweep, Moose has offered up his big shed as some where to camp. If you guys that were gunna travel want to pull out now that is OK, as we will still be able to cover it. PM me with your phone number and I will call you, to discuss your options
Sorry for any fuck ups.
Regards Mick
