i was having a ball chasing Billt around and giving him a nudge :laugh: :laugh:my bars are already twisted by this stage and the fork is already hanging out. its about 50km into the ride.
it made me feel a little queezy watching it. knowing how hard id hit stuff through the day.
its probably lucky i was sweeping as i was only rolling the windrows mostly. some of the ones i would usually launch off are 8 foot high….to think what could have been……

August 16, 2010 at 11:33 pm #186072heres some footage of donnellys creek track. it it bloody beautiful. too nice to fly along. there are about 5-6 huts scattered along the track and it follows alongside the creek…
just a magic place.

and i still hadn’t noticed my forks were buggered.
the shitty rattling sound is my chain guide. well i can hear it anyway :laugh: :laugh: it was annoying me all day.

That was one of the best rides I have been on it had everything and with any luck the more I ride in that area it may cure the fear I have of step downhills, I was starting to handle them well by the end of the day…thanks Menace for your help and encouragement :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
Only one small off for the day and I got very wet 😆
It was a pitty you missed the race back around the lake and for 6 buggered riders we were flying through the sand, it was a hoot :woohoo:
Also Menace great vid’s, do you have any more? Can you burn me a copy?

yes, i missed the un-official race back to camp. it happens every ride and always is wicked. :laugh:
of course you can have copies mate, i still have the raw footage too. but it isnt much more than that…
i was to busy being excited and trying to stay upright to take any more footage :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

There is steeeeeeper!!!!…..I was getting nose bleeds where we were and I think I filled my pants a couple of times when I was stupid enough to stop and look down. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
I would love a copy just to show the good lady what we actually do when out riding….she has no idea
I new I should have given you a hand to put your bike together now after looking at the photo’s 😆 …Maybe next time you will take me up on the offer, at least I know how to do my bolts up and I also use loctite.
