techno ice box, is that an esky that plays “doof doof”?
    :P

are they the large blue ones?

i don’t know what brand my mate has, about 4 1/2′ x 2′ x 2′. went camping first time with it they filled it with needed stuff, some block ice and topped up with bags/ cube stuff. only opened it when needed/ not unnecessarily .

kept the bulk cold for the 4-5 days, i’m not sure if they topped it up 2-3 days in with a bag of crushed ice.

if you really want i can ask what brand etc.

i doubt this was any help, but i do try!:woohoo:

hey Rocket i think you may mean techni ice

Yep as tiny said i freeze 3L milk bottles and lay em on the bottom then pack the cube stuff around the beer & food just a thought if you hunt around you can get solid cubed ice its heaps better than the holow stuff the servos sell.

    5-16 day ice rating:ohmy: !

yep +1 for freezing your own, know it’s solid ice then.

Rocket being a fisherman;) have use all types of eskys i use a 240 litre engle. and i have found the fiberglass ones get much cooler than the plastic ones but the glass ones are prone to cracking but easily fixed. but they all do a good job 3/4 days no problem but use block ice or fozen bottles we had ice last in a 210litre evercool esky for 12 days before it all melted well thats my say now ill nick off:P

i wasn’t going to mention as i thought all would know anyway.

but i only 3/4 fill any bottle,

freeze it with the lid off until solid= pressure not split bottle,

then put it on when i want to use it.
