Good write-up Mick, very useful for people who would contemplate getting one like me. I’m not entirely sold though.

You sold now Moto, after your recent crash I mean?

Haven ridden with it a few times now, here are some critisims, the bit that sticks up behind your helmet tends to catch vines and low branches if you forget to make allowances for it.The other gripe I have is, on hot days I fell a tad clostrphobic with it on. Otherwise I is all good.B)

I think they are worth their weight in gold if you have a a decent crash. I will get one, question is when. For some reason pivot pegz and sorting my suspension seem more important than breaking my neck:dry:

I’ve been eating lots of extra takeout in attempt to make my neck thicker, I’m confident in a few weeks it will be like an impenetrable fortress and the distinction between my head and shoulders will be a distant memory.

Hows that theory coming along Moto

I actually think the old goose neck may have got thinner. I’ll have to try and put my arms in the way instead, the guns are a force to be reckoned with.

Having my right hand in plaster is certainly giving my left one a good workout.

Told you before, there is no point in getting into a battle of wits with you, you are unarmed !

Says he who overtightened the sump plug and cracked the engine case of his Honda XR650. Aren’t they built to last more than one race? Looks like lasting one race isn’t the problem, getting to the second is.

I’m still thinking about it. I probably will end up with one, there are more impotant things on the list first though. I still need to get a pool table for a start, it’s all about priorities ;)

Been too busy writing articles for magazines and newspapers.
But now you mention it I should say that,I firmly believe that if I didn’t have that neck brace on when I went head first into that ditch,my ride would have ended there and then.
It certainly saved my neck. (Pardon the pun).
