    With more female riders and others less experienced riders joining OldBulls, we thought we would organise a weekend where these riders could gain some experience riding the single tracks around Kitchener and Bellbird to sharpener up their technical skills.

    The thought was for people who live further afield could enjoy a full days ride on Saturday then have some drink/dinner and laugh about the days antics. There will be an opportunity to do more riding on Sunday for those interested.

    We would also like to invite any more experienced OldBullers to assist Mick in helping/guiding us on the weekend and it would be great for someone to give talk on preparation/ maintenance and setup’s to consider.

    Please respond to this thread if interested and plans with be refined closer to time.

    The plans are as follows whether its raining, hailing or shinning.

    Location: Park in the vacant block of land next to The Railway Hotel, 216 Vincent St Cessnock. http://www.railwayhotelcessnock.com.au/

    Date: Saturday 2nd Feb and Sunday 3rd Feb

    Time: ready to ride at 9.30am. Grade 2 single track

    Accommodation: http://www.railwayhotelcessnock.com.au/. YOU need to book room. It includes continental breakfast Only 4 rooms left. If no rooms try the Royal Oak Hotel (across the road)

    Lunch on Saturday: Bellbird Hotel. http://bellbirdhotel.com.au/

    Dinner on Saturday: The Railway Hotel.

    Love your style Oldgirl….. The only time I consider myself as snoring is when I wake myself up ….. Doesn’t happen often but the rum and coke is always to blame for that….. I’m so pleased you are coming up… We will have plenty of belly laughs…. Get those abs ready!!!. We went up on Saturday to checked out some singles….. You will have a BALL.

    All go for the w/end, sooo excited!!

    there could be another rider with us,
    A guy i work with has only just got back into riding dirt,
    And i have finally convinced him,
    this is just the right ride for him test the waters!!

    We wont be staying at the pub, home is close by
    And stephen is under the impression i will misbehave,
    Pub, food, alcohol and great company!!
    I dont know where he getting those ideas from.

    Alyssa just tell him you have to stay at the pub with me!!! That you dont even want to but really what can you do!! :P

    My bike is booked in for a little day spa on Thursday so hopefully it is given the green light before the weekend! (I shouldnt have gone on that last ride before I got my rad guards … now my radiator is all wavey like the ocean :huh: )

    I will be bummed if i cant make it :(

    Ok, bike got the green light! Looking forward to the weekend 😆 pretty impressive they were able to straighten my radiator it was bad …… Wish I had taken a picture …. Dodged a bullet on that one – new ones are $$$$$

    Hey Katgirl,

    If you have room for one more i reacon I can make the drive and help out if I can, don’t mind sweeping if you need one. I won’t be able to stay the night, might be able to hang around for dinner! Hope to see ya there!

    Rach… That is fantastic news.

    Dejay….. It would be awesome having you along for the Saturday’s ride and dinner if you could make it….. Im sure there will be plenty of belly laughs and great moments captured on camera….
