I have this CB250 223cc twin engine in my shed and reckon it would work a treat in a XL/XR250 frame . . . . . . . . Its smaller enine than the CB250/400’s in this frame.

Interesting side note on this bike: turns out the owner is in a wheelchair, car accident victim. According to his father, it was a miracle that this bike didn’t put him in a wheelchair first! It seems this thing was deadly!

Being in the same game as Bollocks, I also come across a few old dungers hidden away on properties.

This old girl is still a goer, obviously still goes pretty good if the missing rear guard is any indicator.

I think it started life as a PE400N

This is how she would have looked in a past life.

Hey Mick. The old pe looks in need of a resto. I score this old dt 250 of a mate before xmas. He brought it new out at Dubbo in 81 and road it for a few years and than put in his shed out at the Ridge. It’s not missing anything toolkit included. I’m gunna do it up one day, Maybe  ….Dusty

Doesn’t look like she would need much doing up. A pressure wash would probably do it!

It’s all a bit rusty so just pull down and a paint and some chrome work may do it.
