After fitting mine up & riding yesterday I’m not all for them. Day started ok with no real noticeable difference. As fatigue set in I found it took a lot more effort to stay in place.
They are grippier than standard WR pegs so I found moving around on them more difficult than normal.
I also wear Gaerne boots, so even with a big foot I find it easy to select gears etc
Mine will be removed soon,
I might try them with my Stegpegz although this contradicts the design

I would give them more than one ride before you make up your mind fully, I cant imagine riding with out them now.

Hey sb I am a little confused which for me is easy  you said that they are gripper then the standard yet took more effort to stay in place?
Where I find my Gaerne boots stick to them like s*&t to a blanket and get better the more I am fatigued when going uphills and sitting to standing?
I know we are all different etc maybe I havent read it right  :laugh:TB
March 22, 2010 at 5:06 am #173986Nah I think by saying “They are grippier than standard WR pegs so I found moving around on them more difficult than normal.” he means its more difficult to shift his foot because they’re grippy.
March 22, 2010 at 5:46 am #173988Yep I’m a bit like confused Dude, why do you need your foot to move around on the pegs so much?
I’ve got them great for lazy old blokes like me, just tilt your weight forwards and rearwards on the pegs to weight the bike up, and shifting and braking are mucho betterer, coming from someone who spent near 40 years on all sorts, narrow, short, wide, sharp, blunt, rubber, alloy, hard steel, these are right after suspension in the list of “must-haves” from now on.

March 22, 2010 at 5:58 am #173992Hmmmm, what is the warranty on pivot pegs. i noticed last saturday one of the pivot springs are broken and it flops about.

March 22, 2010 at 6:21 am #173995I`m in agreeance with the mayor of wauchope. I was gunna throw mine at the nearest roo when I first put them on,but now standing up when going up hill and down for any length of time is a breeze
I dont even realise I use them, its only when others jump on ya bike they remind you of them by say,, jeez them pegs feel different. Give them a month of good rides then post your thoughts.
Boony
and that was the most sensible thing I`ve said today.
