Thats right ECKS-man, bought a pack of three today for the pool $7.00, had the same thought as I was fitting one to the pool skimmer basket. I always run filter skins so I am going to try one next time.

    great things these
I have been using filter-skins for years originally “twin air” ones they used to be cheap but once they took off the price trebled overnight, so being a pool owner of course I started using filter sox, the larger ones are the go for Yamaha and KTM, the smaller ones were good for older CR’s, the density is identical in fact if one was cynical one could suggest that they all come from the same source, but one is not that cynical……….. yet.
I don’t change my filter for up to 5 good rides when i regularly change the skins, and my rings and bores last as well if not better than most, obviously on dusty days if I aren’t riding lead I change skins more frequently than on damp rides, and I also seat my skins ehind the aircleaner to the box, allowing mo exposed filter, haven’t noticed any performance drop or the likes so it’s all good.

O.K Fair nough, I wish I could use chux’s, I have a lifetime supply of them from one of my clients, I’ll have to start using them for other things.
Last time I bought from ballards paid $30.00 for 3 and then they have the quickrelease ones with a bit of string stuck on for I think $35.00. Yep I’m going to try and get some tommorrow to give them a go, I think I’ll try BigW or K-Mart.

    Cheers
    Chris.
