We played again tonight and I can report:

Eagle 1 – Moto 1!!

It was a good game and I even did one super special shot where I hit the ball clean into the next court after it returned from orbit :laugh:

Moto took the set at 6-3,, However ,We played on for an hour and Eagle ended up in front 8-7

All in all a great hour of tennis & heaps of laughs (especially the orbit shot):laugh:

Well, after Eagle had decided to up his game he took an early lead and went 4 games up to my 1. Not wanting a royal 6-1 whipping I decided to play as best as possible to regain some credibility.

It turns out that my luck was in as my persistence seemed to be paying off. I managed to bring the score back to force a tie breaker to win the set. Again I started badly going down by 4, but in keeping with my ‘comeback’ attitude of the day I managed to turn it aroun and win the set.

Still having 20 minutes left we played a few extra games. Final score was 11-6 to me.

racy and i have been invited to the one day tennis world cup. to be held at eagles club.

no experience necessary. but would be helpful if some of the competitors could borrow some sort of racket to share. and if anyone could get a tennis ball of dog, that would helpful

our non dirt bike friends here in newy are not very serious about competition
