First ADV ride for 2013

PTW and I went out for the first day of the year on a great ADV ride.

We meet at 8.00am at Laureiton with a bit of a plan but more of see were we end up.

We head down through Diamond Head to come out at Moorlands ,we cross the hwy in to upper Lansdowne in to the Killabakh state forest.

We spent some time in there and found some great tracks, and the look out’s like Flat Rock were just great.

We then made our way to Comboyne and decide to keep going to Ellenborough Falls for lunch.

I was amazed how many people were at the falls the car park was full , we had lunch at the Elands store with the Hippys.

Then we headed back to Comboyne, and there was a far bit of traffic to deal with,some close calls with FWD. We made our way up to the rock that Mick allways take to.

From there we made our way pass Bago Bluff down to the back of Bago road with one nasty down hill .

Cut across to Queens lake State forest with a couple of nice single tracks and then to the top of jolly Noise look out.

From there we mad our way to Oueen s lake , we decide to head back home from there.

I did a great job of getting us loss a number of times, thank to PTW we found our way out back on the tar and finshed off at the bottle shop at Nth Haven haveing a cold beer sitting on the river banks.

PTW has some photos I think he will put up , thank s PTW for a great day really mate I enjoy it.

I had PTW in the office here today and it sounded like you guys had a great ride. WE only just missed crossing paths, we left the rock just before you guys got there. Then we were in Cowarra SF as well.

Yea Tb said last night you were up there, it was great every were we went Pete and would say to each other I OH we been here before with Mick.

Well its time i wrote in this RR :laugh: Ive just finished doing reno’s on thy house and haven’t had time.

Thanks Strucky, the first day of the year was a cracker.

We started off with some Exploring

A top day and as Strucky said, we finished off with a beer on the water at North Haven.
