Five Forrests 20 March

Riding through five forests from Ourimbah to Pokolbin and back in a day on Saturday 20 March.

Will be leaving the Ourimbah Interchange parking area at 7am on the dot and expect to be back before sunset around 7pm.

Grade 4/5.
Not that anything will be very difficult. The last time we did over 300Km and took 12 1/2 hours and I didn’t do all the trails I wanted to so you will need to be fairly bike fit to make the distance comfortably.

There will be as much single trail as I can fit in the time frame.

You will need 100km fuel range.

Make sure you have a working headlight.

My forks are at Teknik for some work and they reckon I’ll have them back for this ride. Fingers crossed.

Numbers will be limited to 10 riders due to time and distance.

It will be just a lack of ride fitness that could let me down mate with not having ridden much in the last 6 months.

I have changed my plans and wont be making this ride now. I am going out to play on the Transalp instead and see if I can’t work out how to operate my GPs properly. Have a goos ride guys and not too many Latte’s, don’t want you getting to hypo and hurting yourselves.
