100psi so they pop on the first bump and you can replace them with heavy duties

that sounds great,,I`ll try it next ride, thanks for the advice :)

thats real advice not bullshit, ive got ultra heavy duty tubes and i reckon my front rim hit the ground about a 100 times on the sofala ride, thats a lot of weight with rider and bike and blown fork seals, and no punctures

i put a product in my tubes that really does assist with on the trail punctures, its a paper machete mixed with some super duper liquid so it doesnt dry like other products and it really does plug small to medium holes by plugging the hole instantly..This product really works, trust me.

Boony I tried all the goos, sealants etc before I settled with heavy duty tubes, a lot of those goos etc are designed for tubeless tyres with is very different to tube type. Good luck with it sounds like you have it under control good job ;)

I used to to run heavy duty tubes all the time and only had a couple of flats over the years. Now I’ve got these ultra heavys from Suttos and with the high profile of the Pirelli scorpians I don’t think I even hit the rim anymore.

I used that goo in my old bike and it sealed up a few small punchures. Keep forgetting to put it in this bike.

I just put a heavy duty job on the back of the DRZ (managed to buy a single replacement spoke 6 bucks for a stainless steel jobby), they’re usually pretty good for stopping pinch flats from rocks, sadly not so good at stopping pinch flats from idiots with tyre leavers :( . patched up the old one which was a UHD and stuck that back in.
