Flinders and Beyond

Hello old bulls and fellow adventurers. We have tentative plans to do a ride to the flinders in april next year once my son gets his license and I get him a bike. So far maybe 4 riders and a support nissan.

I would like to invite any old bulls that have done some rides out that way to make comments on places to see and things to do. Plan so far is ride to birdsville, head south to the flinders ranges. Camp for a week or so and do some day trips and maybe even a bit of gold prospecting in a couple of gold fields around the area. Head north and do the oodnadatta (again) and then head back east via Dalhousie springs.

I am looking for stories, GPS routes, great camping spots and hot tips to make this trip really worth while. Thanks in advance.

Hey TB, would be keen on the one day but have organized a weekend away with the family at the barringtons, if work gets busy I can come along otherwise im taking a day either side of the weekend for some quiet time, might take the 300 though :whistle:

I would love to catch up with you on what routes and things you have. will play by ear.
