Check the slow mo at the 1.40 mark, if that had been 99% of punters they would eating shit. If thats not the case I will give it up!!
Watch it and watch it in 1080 or 720 on a good screen, watch the foot peg weighting and body shifting amazing control.

Yep good save looks impressive he does jump a long way so he must have been up it.

Would have been good to see it from front on as well, why did he leave KTM ?

You might be right. I didn’t think he would leave KTM, but I did notice that he still has Red Bull on his jersey. Obviously they are a personal sponsor and not a team sponsor like I thought.

I just watched that again as I sit here in Brisbane waiting for my kero kite. That action at the 1.40 mark leaves me speechless  it’s just amazing

Note the more aggressive riding stance than that of Peterhansel , and Stephan has been a winner of Dakar and many other rallies on the bike and in the cars , allround champion , 11 titles all up I think it is

Also interesting to see a REKLUSE clutch cover on the 450 Yammy ???
Wonder if that will be a permanent fixture for him ,,,

    Interesting times ahead indeed,,

Hope Coma kicks his ass now

1.40 pffft I can do that in my sleep :) in my dreams more like it.

Heaps of pros use the Rekluse clutch cover for its strength, doesn’t mean there is a Rekluse clutch in there. The bike Toby Price smash when he hurt his neck had a Rekluse cover but a normal clutch.

Did anyone notice that the exhaust pipe exits from the the rear on the Yamaha ?

Did anyone notice that the exhaust pipe exits from the the rear of the cylinder on the Yamaha !

Makes it look like a pure MX bike with temporary lights to me !

Shame for trying to pull the wool over our eyes Yamaha !

Pull your head out of your arse Al like a KTM Dakar bike is a EXC  or the factory CRF go to the Yamaha FB page they explain the bike there all up front full disclosure there mate
BTW when do the bikes at Dakar really represent what we ride or the A4DE for that matter ( they should ADR compliant bikes IMO )
