I’ve only ever used MX style gloves off road and am finding them somewhat flimsy for trailriding, came across the fox Bombers at a god price and was wondering if anyone here knows anything about them?

    Hi Mr Blue

I have a pair of Bomber gloves and they are the bomb:laugh: The carbon knuckle pads offer great protection and when riding you do not notice them at all. They do not restrict movement.

Build quality is good and I have not had any stitching issues and they have had a few laps through the washing machine. Just be mindful when pulling the velcro tabs that you get a grip under the velcro rather than the rubbers outer as the velcro is stronger than the glue and one of mine delaminated. That was really my fault for being in a hurry and a dab of super glue has fixed that.

I bought the white pair as I like to look faster than I am and they have cleaned up good so whether you choose black or white I think you will be very happy with them. I consider these to be good value at full RRP and when the time comes to replace them I will buy them again.

    Cheers

Thanks STM, great info and they are still top of my list, but now I am spreaing my search further afield as the supplier I was dealing with doesn’t have the bombers in my size, you know “I worked for a living for a while” type size, only, “people actually work outside with tools?” sizes… :P

I agree with spidy,, the philosophy involved in the statements TB can come up with is scary, I think he is indeed a very misunderstood human bean,

Look pretty much the same as the DriRider RallyX Gloves:)

I reckon they would be good & have considered getting a pair for winter commuting,,,
$70 seems to be reasonable I suppose;)
