    Hey TW

Consider yourself pencilled in for the moment Murph.

Did the pre-ride on Saturday. Perfect conditions – no rain and no dust, 23 degrees. We were back at the cars at midday. Might add a bit more to the loop ….

    Hi All,

So far we have ten down for this ride. Ten’s a good number. My preference is to have no more than 12.

For those on the list, if there is a change of circumstance over the next couple of days that will prevent you from attending, I ask that you let it be known sooner rather than later so that others who may be interested in the ride can put their names down, rather than finding out at the last minute.

Latest forecasts for Friday look good – sunny, scattered showers. (insert crossed fingers here)

Sorry Paul, things have piled up on me and now am unable to attend. Have a good ride.

A belated welcome aboard to XRTRAILHACK and +1.

    Hi also to Tim100.

See you at The Pines Camping Area, RTR 9 am.

I will forward my mobile number onto those on the list, just in case you may be running late on the morning. Don’t do a ‘Ross’ – he rang up late from Monkey Face Lookout “Where the hell is The Pines Camping Area?” At least he had a phone, so there were no probs.

The rolling race / downhill race / dead bike race proved to be popular last time so it will be making an appearance again, this time with a prize for the winner and the loser (it’s been a while since I visited a $2 shop).

Thanks TB for the compliment. One thing I haven’t planned though is morning tea. The rolling race finishes about 1 km from the bottom of Hayes Road, Millfield (unless your name is Ross and you ride a ‘worked’ DRZ400). We will be there around 11 am. Would be a nice place for morning tea. I read ‘TB Caterers’ put on a good bbq the other day. If you are free on Friday, what say you meet us there and organise a smoko – coffee, tea and scones, nothing too fancy. For your efforts we will let you present the race prizes. Sounds good? See you there. ;)

Newbie to OB here…and not a fast rider anyhow :)
Would this ride be OK for an old git with an XR600R?

Might just be tempted to bludge one off if the her Highness the Minister for War and Finance can be conned by a foot massage later on…gets her guard down

Another slow old git who goes by the name of Training Wheels will be there, so I can’t see there being a problem. :) Welcome to the fold.
