So I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some Old Bulls via virtual contact using this site but tonight on my way home from a ride I waved at a fellow Old Bull doing 80km/h on the Old Pacific Hwy between Berowra and Hornsby…. but not sure who it was.
You know that feeling after you’ve been out all day, the bike is dirty… you cloths stink the car out but you have that grin on your face… then you see another fellow dirty rider driving home you do looksie at what bike is on the back…. then I noticed the Old Bull stickers both on the bike (Gas Gas) and blue ford truck….Looks like he had Watagan’s mud all over it.
After quick wave or two we parted ways….
Hope he had a good ride… I was blasting it on a MX track all day to work on some basic skills and every part of me is sore but the rum and coke is easing the pain.

April 4, 2010 at 9:22 am #175306Yep that was Ollie alright, going by the description. I bet he was just plugging along in the ute too, It is the only thing that I can think of, that is actually slower than him on the GasGas.

April 4, 2010 at 8:30 pm #175309The infamous Ollie….I should have known with the dirty Gas Gas.
I noticed you had trouble turning your head and lifting your hand to wave and the smile looked like a grin of pain. I didn’t get a chance to count how many fingers you used.
Hope your body bits and bike heal quickly and your back out there ripping it up. 😆

April 5, 2010 at 11:10 am #175329Ha Ha, that is classic I have seen a few vehicles whilst driving around with OB stickers on them, I don’t know who they were but it’s great to see. Katgirl Ollie is a true gentleman I am sure if he could have given you a proper non painful wave and a smile he would of.
Cheers
