I have been to Bunnings, Super Cheap Auto and two bike shops and I still can’t get hold of a 14mm allen key or something (anything) that will fit the front wheel axle.

I would bag Yamaha for not having something as simple as a tool to remove the front wheel in the kit that comes with the bike, except the Tiger tool kit is the same.

Options please as I’m running out of time before the nav ride and I just know I’ll get a flat if I don’t have one!

What about a 14mm Hex bit that fits onto a T Handle or ratchet ???
Gotta be something available out there mate

I`m sure I have a 14mm allen key in one of my kits. Will have a search tomorrow and if I have more than one, you can have one on the KRR ride if you make it ;)

Doesn’t help you for this weekend though :pinch:

I have a set of these, these are what I was talking about for using on a ratchet etc
Supercheap usually have these sets too.

Thank you, Your Royal Highness. I’ll do what Eags has suggested and try another Supercheap branch. The local one to me is more of an assisted workshop. The staff can barely speak. And as for the local Bunnings…. Oh Christ, don’t get me started!

Tried that Ollie with up to 3 nuts etc. Bent the spanner tightening the nuts even and the thing still turned  . I will weld the nuts and spin them on the lathe at work ;)
